What are your bikinis made of?

MIDORI swimwear is made from Xtra Life Lycra which is 10x more durable than your average swimwear fabric when it comes to fade resistance, durability, and elastic retention. Our line is STANDARD 100 certified by OEKO-TEX. This means that every material used in our products is 100% skin safe. OEKO-TEX is an annual, voluntary certification process that goes beyond national and international requirements.

Where are MIDORI bikinis made?

MIDORI bikinis are made in Colombia and Brazil by manufacturers who's values align with our own ethical and moral standards. Our seamstresses are paid higher than minimum wages and approximately 90% of the women employed by our factory are the heads of their households- provided with social security and health benefits to help improve their standards of living. Fair compensation is foundational to upward mobility and we embrace that truth when manufacturing our swimwear.

Do your bikini tops have padding?

Yes, all top styles have removable padding with the exception of the Stella top.

What if I receive a damaged piece?

While rare, MIDORI bikinis are handmade and defects do occur from time to time. Defective items must be reported to customer service via our contact form within 24 hours of delivery to ensure your replacement is properly processed.

Ambassadors

How can I become an ambassador?

You can learn more about our tribe and submit an application here.

What do ambassadors do?

Each ambassador receives bikinis and in turn regularly takes photos for our social media accounts. The role of an ambassador is to spread positivity and brand awareness through social media.

How often do you review ambassador applications?

We review ambassador applications daily and choose a new ambassador to join the MIDORI tribe semi-annually.

What are the requirements of becoming an ambassador?

Ambassadors are required to have public Instagram accounts and be over the age of 18.


Orders

Can I change my order?

Although we can't guarantee an order can be changed once it's been placed, we will make every effort to do so. For the quickest service, text your order number and change request to 808.295.2248 or contact us here.

How can I check the status of my order?

We recommend creating an account on our site where you can access your orders and view their status at any time. You may also contact us for quick updates.

Can I combine a gift card and a discount code?

Yes. Enter both into the "Gift Card/Discount" filed in checkout.

Can I use more than one discount code at a time?

No, only one discount code may be used per order.

Can I use a discount code on a past order?

No, discount codes are only valid for a specific period of time and cannot be applied to orders placed before or after that window.

I forgot to use my discount code. Can you apply it to my order?

We cannot apply discount codes to orders that have already been placed. Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience to cancel your order and place a new one using the code by sending us a text at 808.295.2248 or contacting us here. Once an order has been shipped it cannot be canceled.


Shipping

When will my order ship?

Orders placed before noon PST Monday- Friday will be shipped within 48 business hours. Orders placed after noon PST will be processed the following business day.

How can I track my order?

Once your order ships you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a link to track your package. Please allow 24 hours for your tracking number to properly update.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We even offer free worldwide shipping on orders with a value over $100 USD.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Of course! We offer expedited shipping beginning at $10. Find more information on faster shipping options here.

How fast will I get my order?

We offer multiple shipping options from 2 to 7 days for domestic orders within the United States. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-20 business days. Tracking information will be provided in your shipping confirmation email.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use all major carriers such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS as well as and local courier partners like USPS. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

Where will my order ship from?

Most orders are shipped from our warehouse in Carlsbad, California.


Exchanges and Returns

How can I return my order?

If your bikini doesn't provide the perfect fit, send it back within 30 days using a prepaid return shipping label to receive either store credit or a full refund. Orders returned for a full refund are subject to a $5 return shipping fee. To initiate a return, click here.

What if I can't get the Returns Page to work?

Ensure you are using the same email address that was entered at checkout. The returns page is also case sensitive. Contact us here if you need assistance!

Can I make an exchange?

We currently do not offer exchanges however you can return a qualifying bikini for store credit and purchase the piece of your choice once your return has been processed and your store credit has been sent to you.

Can I return my order after 30 days?

No, returns received after 30 days will be shipped back at the customer's expense as per our return policies

When will I get my refund or store credit?

Once we have received your package back at our facility, please allow 7 business days for return processing. Once your return has been processed you will receive an email confirming your refund.

Can I use my store credit more than once?

Yes! Your store credit is essentially a gift card and carries a balance. To use the remaining amount, simply enter the same store credit code that was originally sent to you.

Why was my bikini sent back to me after I returned it?

Any return not in compliance with our return policy will be returned to the customer. A decision to refuse a return that is not compliant with the MIDORI return policy is final and cannot be refuted.
