Sweet Sunday Bowl

Hello! Ambassador Cayden here. I was having major cravings for sweets this morning, a sweet tooth if you will. I don’t really have sweets in the house, nor did I want to go out and buy any. So, instead I created a sweet smoothie bowl to satisfy my craving. I must say, it very much so satisfied my sweet tooth. It tasted amazing, sweet, everything I wanted and I didn’t have that bad feeling that comes after eating sweets from the grocery store (probably because there was nothing “bad” in it).

Here are the details:
Blend- 2 to 3 bananas, a splash of almond milk, a spoonful of nutella and honey, and a sprinkle of cinnamon
Toppings- These are very optional and are totally up to what you have and what you like. I put half a sliced banana, a few sliced strawberries, unsweetened coconut, and granola (not pictured)
This bowl was a great treat that I will probably have for dessert or as a weekend sweet treat (or if I need to conquer another sweets craving in general).

Tip: I buy my bananas in bulk and freeze them when they start turning slightly brown. That way I always have frozen bananas for smoothies and banana ice cream. They are a great snack because they’re low-fat and cholesterol free, have high-energy carbs and potassium, help with digestion, and have many other benefits. Be sure to wait until the banana starts to get brown spots, otherwise it is very common to get tummy aches from eating multiple bananas that are not yet ripe enough.
