Luana

Aloha!

My name is Luana and I live on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu.  I was born and raised on Maui and relocated to Oahu for college. I met my husband while attending school and got married and knew that I didn’t want to raise my family anywhere else but the North Shore.

I have two beautiful daughters and they are truly my source of inspiration and motivation. I am a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor and love what I do! I currently teach classes at the beautiful Turtle Bay Resort and love helping others reach their fitness and healthy lifestyle goals.

Health and wellness are very important to me and I strive to teach that to my children as well as those who may be listening. Living on the North Shore I am blessed with some of the most gorgeous beaches as well as mountains that Hawaii has to offer.

Being active by swimming, hiking, dancing hula and working out not only makes me feel good but it helps me be a better mom, wife and person.  The motto I try to live by is that “Fitness isn’t a seasonal hobby.  Fitness is a lifestyle.”

Make time to take care of your body and in turn, it will take care of you!

TIPS TO EATING HEALTHY:

Surround yourself with whole/healthy foods. Give  your fridge and pantry a makeover and spend your money on fresh (and local) F ruits and veggies. Avoid processed foods (anything in boxes or packages  and processed meats).

HOW TO HAVE CONFIDENCE:

Change the things in your life that you have control over, like exercising and making healthier choices. Let go of the  things that you can't control. Surround yourself with positive people and  remember to give yourself a break! No one is perfect 100% of the time.  And smile...nothing screams confidence like a beautiful smile and good  posture!
